The premiere of AREA 4 in 2005 at the OpenAir-Area of the König-Pilsener-ARENA in Oberhausen was celebrated by more than 10.000 people who rocked to fantastic Bands like System Of A Down, Nine Inch Nails, Beatsteaks and Madsen. In 2006 The AREA 4 Festival took a creative break, to come back in 2007 with a big bang. Three days of rock’n’ roll in the beautiful surroundings of the airport Borkenberge in Lüdinghausen (Lüdinghausen is located between Dortmund and Münster) TOOL, BILLY TALENT, SILVERCHAIR , NOFX , EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, JULIETTE AND THE LICKS, …AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD, THE 69 EYES and MANDO DIAO are just some of the bands, who already rocked the stage!
